On July 25, 2026, reporting based on DefiLlama data captured through July 24 showed that real-world assets on Robinhood Chain had reached approximately $72.7 million in active market capitalization. The figure was described as nearly five times the level observed less than two weeks earlier, providing the first substantial evidence that Robinhood’s newly launched blockchain was attracting activity related to its stated purpose: bringing stock-linked instruments and other financial assets onchain.

The result was meaningful, but narrower than a headline about fivefold growth might suggest. The $72.7 million category included more than Robinhood Stock Tokens. Private-credit asset Syrup USDG represented about $48.2 million of active market capitalization in the July 24 snapshot, leaving tokenized equities and related instruments as a minority of the measured total.

Stock-linked trading gained traction

Robinhood launched the public mainnet of Robinhood Chain on July 1, 2026. The company described it as a permissionless, Ethereum-compatible layer-two network built using Arbitrum technology and designed for real-world assets. Robinhood also made Stock Tokens available through Robinhood Wallet to eligible users in more than 120 countries, subject to jurisdictional restrictions.

By the July 24 data cutoff reported on July 25, twelve Robinhood-issued stock tokens were each generating more than $500,000 in daily decentralized-exchange volume, and five exceeded $1 million. Reported daily volume was led by the GameStop-linked token at $26.6 million, followed by Nvidia at $14 million and SpaceX at $6.4 million. Combined stock-token volume was approximately $55 million.

Those figures indicated that the products were not merely sitting in wallets. They were being exchanged and, in some cases, deposited into decentralized-finance applications. Yet turnover should not be confused with new capital: the same tokens can change hands repeatedly during a measurement window, so daily volume can substantially exceed their market capitalization.

The instruments also were not ordinary shares transferred onto a blockchain. Robinhood’s product disclosures characterize Stock Tokens as tokenized debt securities issued by Robinhood Assets (Jersey) Limited. They provide economic exposure to referenced securities but do not give holders legal or beneficial ownership rights in the underlying companies. That distinction matters when interpreting the growth as adoption of tokenized equities.

The network remained dominated by other activity

DefiLlama data cited in the contemporaneous reports put Robinhood Chain’s total value locked at approximately $312 million on July 24, up from $135 million on July 13. That is an increase of about 131%, or 2.31 times, over eleven days. Daily decentralized-exchange volume was reported at approximately $623 million.

Using the reported $55 million stock-token volume and $623 million network-wide DEX volume produces a share of roughly 8.8%. This is a Coinburn calculation from two rolling daily estimates, not a percentage published by Robinhood. Differences in data coverage, token classification and cutoff times could change the result.

The calculation supports a restrained conclusion. Stock-linked activity had become measurable and was growing quickly, but more than nine-tenths of reported decentralized-exchange volume still came from other assets. Stablecoins and speculative tokens remained the larger components of the young network.

What the snapshot established

The July 25 record did not prove durable demand, accurate tracking of referenced securities or sufficient liquidity under stressed conditions. It also did not establish that the measured tokens carried the same protections as brokerage-held shares.

It did establish a verifiable early shift. Within the first month of Robinhood Chain’s public operation, stock-linked products progressed from a corporate launch proposition to assets with tens of millions of dollars in reported value and material daily trading. Whether that activity would persist remained unresolved on July 25, 2026.
